and MAC Folie
Both colours come out matte. Matte colours seem to compliment me more than shimmery eye shadows so I do love these two colours.
Here is me wearing MAC Texture all over the lid and MAC Folie on the outer 1/3 of my eye lids.
I'm also wearing MAC 36 lashes above.
In the left hand side picture above, do you see the white coloured part at the base of the false lashes?
The white part is not because I overloaded on my clear DUO eye lash glue. It is because the band of the #36 falsies is clear. Here is a picture of the #36's. The band in between the bundles of hairs is clear - not sure if it's obvious from the picture:
When I first put the #36 on, I did not realize the band was clear until I applied the lashes and I looked in the mirror. There were white dotted lines going across my lash line!! NOT a good look.
I took the falsies off, lined the band entirely (front and back) with black kohl liner and re-applied the lashes. It still was not perfect but I could not be bothered to re-apply again
I really do like how the #36 lashes look but overall I've realized I'm not into clear bands on falsies.
Hmmm, and my first let down with a MAC skincare product. This is the Grapefuit and Chamomile Care Blends Essential Oils. This was from the Warm and Cozy collection so I know it's a bit late on a review...
I do have sensitive skin, particularly on my face.
I only started having an allergic reaction after using it two days in a row. Silly me, I even used it a third day to make sure it really was this product giving me a reaction because I really wanted to love it. I am definitely allergic to this essential oil. The rash on my face is almost gone but it will take probably up until Monday before my skin is back to normal :(
As much as I love hearing what products work for others, I love to hear what products have not worked so I don't end up wasting my money LOL. Have you had any products lately that did not live up to your expectations?
