Hello Kitty

A few things Dale surprised me with last week when he came to visit me was Hello Kitty gifts :)
He's the best!

OMG I looove the necklace! It's so cute and pretty - I even love the bow along the clasp

This is my first Hello Kitty watch. It's cute - very girlie ;)


But, guess what else he bought for me that was Hello Kitty?

Dale is from Calgary so he came across these while picking up a few things at his local liquor store

When he called me from the store to tell me, I was really surprised since I had not seen/heard of Hello Kitty booze before

Both of us checked a couple of LCBO liquor stores here in Ontario and we did not come across any Hello Kitty alcoholic beverages

The larger champagne bottle came with a Hello Kitty charm 

They're all products of Italy

Both Dale and I agree that the smaller champagne bottle (the amber/orange coloured one) is the best tasting of this bunch. It's actually really nice, it's crisp and tastes very much like apples (sorry, we couldn't taste the almonds in it). It's quite unique out of the champagnes we've tried and something we would repurchase ;) 

When I did a quick search for Hello Kitty alcohol just now, there were a lot of negative comments towards the whole concept of Hello Kitty launching alcoholic beverages.
