Dale visited me last week and in preparation for our trip up North to Deerhurst Resort, he bought me some practical winter boots from Town Shoes

These were the most stylish boots I could find in the "warm waterproof boots" category - they have a platform, they have a nice metallic bronze colour to them and they have leather straps!
The nice thing is that it's a zip up boot - so I don't have to deal with lacing them up or buckling them up
The temperature was around -10 C to -15 C and my feet were always warm during all the outdoor winter activities we did together :)
And they are very very comfortable
So I do highly recommend these Cougar boots

Dale thought these would be great for clubbing because of the metallic sheen ;)
Mind you, if you click on the direct link above for these heels, the colour online looks too light
In real life, the shoes look much more like my picture (darker) than online

I feel grey shoes are underrated
I typically prefer grey or brown shoes over black shoes because black is a bit harsh against my skin tone if I'm wearing a dress/skirt with bare legs

I've been keeping an eye out for evening purses but the problem for me is finding one with a good strap length. So many evening purses are either clutches or the strap is so long that the purse is at hip level
But I managed to find two while out with Dale and he picked them up for me :)

I love this studded purse from Steve Madden!
It would totally match the Zigi NY shoes that I got last month (post with the shoes is here)
I really like how there is a zipper for this purse
Zippered purses are a must for me if I go clubbing - that way, when I'm
The leather is really soft on this purse - I love it
It's a Co-Lab purse by Christopher Kon, which we got at Town Shoes

The strap length is perfect for me but there is also a longer strap included
There is also a separate back compartment with a magnetic closure (see above)
I love how there is a twist lock for the front flap of the purse as well a zipper to get to the inside of the purse
