Chinese Cyberattacks Hit Gmail Posted: 03 Jun 2011 12:40 PM PDT It's a wonder why we haven't seen more flurries of cyberattacks like these more often, right? It seems like everything is being attacked these days: from Sony's Playstation Network to Best Buy, and now it looks like Gmail has been hit. And this comes just days after the U.S. and the U.K. have stated that certain cyber attacks can and will be seen as acts of war. Just on Wednesday Gmail was hit with an attack that originated in China, and it resulted in the compromise of Gmail accounts of hundreds of high-profile individuals in several nations: Eric Grosse, engineering director of Google's security team, described a campaign to collect Gmail users' passwords that he says appears to have originated in Jinan, China. The hackers targeted the accounts of "senior U.S. government officials, Chinese political activists, officials in several Asian countries (predominantly South Korea), military personnel and journalists." Honestly, we don't understand why people have to ruin things for other people. Other than money as an obvious one, the reasoning for that kind of destructive mindset shouldn't even exist. At the sake of sounding like a Hippie: That's just not cool, man. Why can't we all just get along? Kelsey Grammer Only Wants Primary Custody Of Son, Not Daughter Posted: 03 Jun 2011 12:30 PM PDT What an awesome dad. Kelsey Grammer has given his ex-wife Camille Grammer a custody agreement that no mother would dare sign. He's asking that the former couple split up their children so that he can take full custody of their 6-year-old son Jude and she takes primary custody of their 9-year-old daughter Mason. What's worse is that Kelsey lives in Chicago and Camille lives in Beverly Hills, which means the two siblings would be thousands of miles away from each other. He also asks that each parent has both children one weekend per month and that Camille gets the kids on Mother's Day and he gets them on Father's Day. Camille was NOT happy with Kelsey's requests and has fired back at him, demanding that she gets full custody of both children. Good for her! Things have already gotten ugly between these two, but to drag the children in their mess is even worse. Meanwhile, the custody hearing will take place on June 9. We have a feeling a lot of DRAMZ is about to go down.

Sick Adele Cancels Remaining North American Tour Dates! Posted: 03 Jun 2011 12:19 PM PDT We're really bummed, but more so, we want her to get better soon! After canceling a handful of dates earlier in the week due to illness, Adele has announced that the remainder of her North American tour has been canceled. She's been diagnosed with severe laryngitis and her doctors have insisted it is MANDATORY for her to rest for the next couple of weeks with absolute voice rest. She sent out her regards to her fans via her webpage, saying: "I'm really frustrated. I was hoping with a weeks rest I'd be better to sing again straight away. However there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctors advice and rest some more. I'm so sorry. See you soon, love Adele" Sad! We know how hard this must be for her. It muse be really serious for to pull out completely. But on a brighter note, sources tell us that the tour dates will be rescheduled. We're sending you hugs and love, Adele! It was assumed that given the latest attention Blake Lively's gotten over her allegedly "fake" nude shots, girl would be avoiding the press like the plague! However, turns out the Gossip Girl star has a bit more spunk than we all though and her rep confirms that not only will she be participating in the three-day press junket for Green Lantern starting Monday, she'll also be attending the MTV Movie Awards. Bet we can guess what everyone's #1 question will be! (And it has nothing to do with Ryan Reynolds!) We wish you luck, Blake! Frances McDormand Takes On Rude Audience Member Posted: 03 Jun 2011 12:00 PM PDT Awesome! Frances McDormand didn't really need another reason to prove how rad she is, but, she gave us one anyway! She's been in this Broadway play called Good People, and she seems like the frontrunner to win best actress from the Tonys — and now she absolutely deserves it. Why? Because a rude audience member answered a loud phone call during the climatic moments of the play, and Frances wasn't having any of that shizz! Check it: The ring echoed from the balcony, drawing gasps from the audience, which included Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Incredibly, the woman with the phone took the call, saying, "Hello." McDormand said, sternly, from the stage, "When you're done, we'll resume." She continued when the rude playgoer stowed the phone. Badass! We're sure the rest of the audience was grateful that she put that person in their place, regardless of having to put the play on pause. We'd expect nothing less from the cop from Fargo. Britain's Got Talent Dramz! Cowell Goes To Cops Over Claims That The Show Is Fixed! Posted: 03 Jun 2011 11:50 AM PDT Nobody messes with Simon's show! Allegations have been circulating over the Internet that Britain's Got Talent has been fixed so that singer Ronan Parke would come in first. A widely read blog also claims that Simon has been managing Parke for two years. As a result, Simon's gone to the cops to track down whoever wrote the claims on the blog, which was read by over a million people! Here's what Ronan had to say about the claims: "I haven't been coached by anyone to do with Simon. I've never met Simon in my life. I'd love to but I never have. I've been coached by the same teacher in Norwich that we pay for and no-one's paid for our clothes or anything. It's really silly." Here's what a spokeswoman for Britain's Got Talent had to say about the situation: "The welfare of our contestants is paramount. We will not tolerate bullying of any kind." The blogger claims they were "an executive at Cowell's Sony record label," and that Ronan had been discovered by Simon's company Syco two years ago and that he was guaranteed to win. Here's a statement that Syco released in response: "There is no truth in this story whatsoever. Ronan first came to Syco/Sony's attention when he entered this year's competition. Syco/Sony Music will not hesitate to take whatever legal action is appropriate." Such a sad situation! We hope everything is worked out. No, Dr. Jack Kevorkian Did Not Commit Physician-Assisted Suicide Posted: 03 Jun 2011 11:20 AM PDT …but he certainly would have if he had the strength! Duh! According to the controversial doctor's lawyer, Geoffrey Feiger, Dr. Jack Kevorkian was sadly too weak to even leave his hospital bed before he died of complications to respiratory and kidney problems. He explains: "I think had he been able to go home, Jack would have not allowed himself to go back to the hospital. The circumstances were such that he was so weak he could not get out of the hospital, he was primarily sleeping most of the time." So sad. We're sure it's comforting for his loved ones to know, however, that he was sleeping and hopefully not in too much pain during those last days. May he rest in peace. [Image via WENN.]
