Thursday: Sculpture Art Show

Yesterday Thursday my boyfriend and I went to The Al Green Sculpture Studio Art Show

Members of the sculpture studio were show casing their pieces.

My boyfriend Evgueni Kogan is a professional sculptor by trade. He use to be a member of this sculpture studio.

This was my FOTD for the evening.

Key eye shadows used:
MAC Corduroy eye shadow (loving this lately!)
Ardell 107 lashes

Black Trench Coat: Jacob
Handbag and high heels: Aldo
Jeans: Sirens

The gallery is in an area of Toronto called The Village area. It's a part of Toronto that is known as a predominantly homosexual area. See the rainbow on the street sign below and how it says "Village" across the rainbow?
Does the city you live in have an area that is predominantly a homosexual district?

See the rainbow decor along the street poles? My boyfriend is the guy standing in black/grey in front of BMO.

It was raining and a bit chilly.

A good turn out at the show

Oh look who's that! LOL

Evgueni (left) and neither of us know the name of the guy on the right but he's usually the photographer at the gallery showings.

This bronze sculpture is by Phyllis Lipman. My boyfriend has done commission work for her

This is Dona Saunders standing beside two of her art pieces. One of the pieces sold during the show! Congratulations Dona :)

Evgueni (left) and William Hung standing beside William's piece. William was a student of Evgueni's and his art work has come a long way. He's very talented.

Left to right: Maryon Kantaroff, Al Green and Melanie Chikofsky. Maryon is a well known Canadian sculptor and a very good friend of Evgueni's and Al. Al Green owns this gallery space and the sculpture studio space - he owns a lot of other properties as well since he was a developer. Melanie manages the Sculpture studio.
So just a few pictures from last night....now I'm off to a night club shortly!
What are your plans for this weekend? :)
Karen
