MAC Lightful Foaming Creme Cleanser

I wanted a cleanser that was a little bit more luxurious than my daily Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Face Cleanser

The Neutrogena cleanser effectively removes layers of face makeup: my long-wearing foundation, bronzer, blush, highlight, and perhaps also some finishing powder

But it does leave my skin feeling dry right away - and I always have to have a face cream at hand.

So I wanted a nice creamy face cleanser that wouldn't leave my skin dry.

It would be a bonus if it helped give my skin some radiance, helped get rid of a pimple or two, and took off my makeup. Maybe that's asking for tooo much!

It has a richer, thicker consistency than the Neutrogena Face Cleanser. You don't need a lot, this amount was good enough to wash my face with:

It does what it claims: cleanses skin without dehydrating it.

My skin feels soft after I use it and I don't feel the need to grab my face cream right away (although I still moisturize my face after cleansing).

I tested to see if it could remove any of my face or eye makeup. The product does not claim to remove any makeup but I was curious ;)

Me, hunched over the sink before wetting my face

After using the cleanser and rinsing it off:

It removed all my face makeup. Yay!

But for my eye makeup, it removed about 80% of my eye shadow. It did not remove much of my eye liner (I used MAC Blitz & Glitz fluidline with MAC Feline Kohl) nor did it remove much of my waterproof mascara (L'oreal Voluminous). Then again, it never claimed to remove any makeup in the first place.

Oh, and it does sting if you get this in your eyes LOL (duh)

Verdict: It's nice to have a creamy moisturizing face cleanser. I'm not sure if I would purchase this again right away - I might try out a different creme cleanser.

What cleanser are you using?

Is it a creamy moisturizing face cleanser or is it more harsh in order to remove all your makeup?
How is your week coming along by the way?! =)
