My weekend was off to a great start! 

On Friday I got together with friends and we all went to Devil's Martini Nightclub ;)

Weekend: Friday Night Brant House + Sat Night Evgueni's

Friday night was club night at Brant House!

The lovely Margarita (Miss Tootie's World) and her cousin April were able to come out :)

Pre drinks were fun!! Ahhh, we gotta do it again :P

My friend Rob was able to join us along with his friend Val - that was nice since I hadn't seen them both since August I believe :S

Saturday Night was low key

Evgueni and I stayed in at his studio and we watched "Dinner for Schmuck's" on iTunes

He's quite the movie critic but he actually liked my movie suggestion (I saw it a couple of months ago)

Friday Night: This is the Lady in Red

Remember my Lady in Red Birthday Party post? 

Well, this is the gorgeous Birthday girl Friday night decked up in red....

Mandy is one of the few down-to-earth, fun, dedicated and genuinely good-hearted people you'll ever meet - there's a lot of things I admire about Mandy :) 

And guess who did her makeup?!!! Me!!! 

I'm really happy with how it turned out & most importantly, she loved it

After pre-drinks at Mandy's place we all headed to a nightclub called Levack Block

It was my first time at this club and it was awesome!

I saw some reviews of the club saying it looks like a basement - and yes, it does. The decor could step up a notch but in all honestly, all that really matters to me is my friends, the crowd & music

It was my first time meeting someone from blogger! Ahhhhh!!! LOL

It was really spontaneous but I loads of fun and I'm soooo happy I met her :)

I LOVE Margarita's blog - she has such a fun sense of humour. I love her hauls & outfits as she scores some of the most awesome shopping deals around Toronto! 

Margarita also brought along a couple of her beautiful girlfriends, Jessica and April, and we all had such a great time! We're already planning our next night out :P

Jasmin and I flew in from Toronto to visit Oi, and Jane flew in from Singapore to visit Oi. 

Oi was the bride to be and these chicks know how to celebrate ;P

Spasso Bar - Grand Hyatt in Bangkok

I'm baaack from vacation :) 

I know it didn't seem like I was away with all the scheduled blog posts :P 

So I was in Thailand for 3.5 weeks and went there for Oi's wedding. She invited Jasmin, Jane and myself to be her bridesmaids. Here are some pictures of us all on one of the nights out clubbing.

We went to Spasso which is an Italian restaurant that turns into a nightclub later in the evening. 

Spasso is located in the lobby of the Grand Hyatt in Bangkok.

Okay, one thing I don't understand about ALL the nightclubs I have been to in Asia.....

Why do they ALL have live bands playing in a nightclub?! 

Ugh, it's one thing I really despise about nightclubs in Asia.  

In Canada, our clubs do not have live bands. They just play music through speakers and there's a DJ to mix the songs and take requests....I was not impressed with any of the live bands at the clubs. I was happiest when the bands had to take their short breaks, got off stage and regular club music was being played :) I'm not against live music - I just think venues that play live bands should be separate from nightclubs.
