Air Jordan Spiz’ike GS – Vivid Pink/Turbo Green

We showed you a sneak preview on these grade school Spiz'ikes last year. These will be available at select retailers within the next month. They have already started poppin up on websites and all over ebay now. Jordan Brand loves the kids! LOL. These are a very dope color way for sizes 3-6.

Nike WMNS Air Max 1 – Miami

Ladies....we know it's been a min...but Nike seems to never forget about you all. Very curious to see what the ladies think about this color in the classic Air Max 1. I am really diggin the white leather upper with combination of mesh, along with trying to stay with the low key color break of the green into yellow fade. No word yet on the stateside release but will keep you posted as soon as we hear something.

Air Jordan 2 “Silver Anniversary” Out NOW

Just in case you might have missed these...they are out right now at select accounts. Retail is $135. I know a ton of people are waiting for March 20th for the 3, 4, and the 5 but don't sleep on the 2.

Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) Lower Merion Aces Away

This colorway was designed for Kobe Bryant's High School(Lower Merion) and feature a LM Away colorway of Silver, Maroon, and White. The heel features the Lower Merion "ACE" logo and the outsole is done in White and translucent maroon. Catch these limited edition kicks at the various House of Hoops locations in your area.

Nike Air Pippen I White/Total Orange

Keep in mind that April is not too far away and NIke will drop the Pippen in a wht/wht color. Pictured below is the white/orange that will release on June 25th at your local footlocker store. This color is a new edition to the classic Pippen series from NIke. Will you get your total orange on this summer?

Review: 3M Nexcare Skin Crack Care

I'm not a huge fan of gloves or mittens

But the weather here is cold and if you spend enough time outdoors without keeping your hands warm, you'll end up with your skin cracking/splitting in areas -it happens to me every winter 

But here is an excellent product to heal any small skin cracks on your hands (including hangnails or even paper cuts). It's 3M Nexcare's Skin Crack Care 

I bought mine at Pharma Plus for $12 on sale.

The packaging says it is fine to also use it on elbows, knees and feet:

And the applicator is easy - it's in a nail polish-like bottle

I have nothing bad to say about this product at all! 

What I like about it:

-it does not sting what-so-ever

-very effective. Without it some of the small skin cracks in my knuckles/fingers would take over a week to heal. Applying this once or even twice a day, my skin completely heals in 2-3 days :)

-one coat is all you need

-it dries in a minute. Literally

-apparently it's waterproof. I only apply this before bedtime so I can't say if it really is.

-a little goes a long way. I'm pretty sure you won't even finish one bottle in the whole of winter

-smell doesn't bother me. It smells lightly of tea tree oil (one of the ingredients)

Air Jordan 2010 White Red Black W3LCOME HOME (Closer Look)

We showed you these sometime last year when Jordan Brand announced D.Wade was signing with JB. This color will actually see the light of day sometime in May. Stay tune for more info as we get closer to the jump.

Air Jordan 2010 Silver Anniversary PE

We first saw these on the feet of D.Wade during the NBA 2010 ALL STAR GAME last week in Dallas. Since then all if the Jordan Brand college teams are rocking them....UNC, Cal, and Georgetown. Tomorrow (Feb 27th) Georgetown will be rocking a silver anniversary jersey with these Jordan 2010's on every teammates foot. If you don't catch the game tomorrow we will try to post pics. The more pictures that come available in these I seem to want them that much more!

Nike Air Max 24-7 (Wale rocking)

So we here at SSD showed you {early samples} of the Air Max 24-7 from Nike and got all kind of response sent back to us. Fast forward almost 2 months later guess who pops up on the internet with them??? That's right...Mr. Sample size himself..LOL.. WALE! No let's not get it twisted, he is well known for not only being a great artist but has a mean kicks collection as well. It was only a matter of tine before this happen. He is currently sporting the OG Grey/Neon green Air Max 95 color. We know that the 24-7's are suppose to drop this summer and will have about several colorsways to choose from that will take us to the end of the year. No word yet on official release date but will keep you posted! Comments now? LOL

A few casual things from Forever21

I got a card, letter and a $300 gift certifcate to Forever21 from my friend Dale in the mail last week

The letter was really heart felt and I cried reading it.

It is very sad for me when there is such a difference between the feelings I have for someone and the feelings that they have for me....that's the nice way of me saying I had to put up with some complicated sh*t from him the past few days.

Despite that, Dale is a really caring person. He had a good annual work bonus and he thought for sharing some of it with me which is sweet.

This time I did not spend the whole gift certificate amount. I couldn't find many nice things at Forever21 this time.

I got two of the the same cardigans - the Slub Sweater LS Cardigan. $23.80 CDN each.

I love cardigans. Especially long ones. I can layer it over a tank top, t-shirt, button down shirt...etc.

And I do love tank tops. I picked up two pink tanks. I can't find the link on the F21 website but here it is. The cotton one on the left was $4.50 CDN (I seriously stock up on this style of tank in every colour) and the lace pattern tank was $15.80 CDN.

And I really like this ring (it's only $5.80 CDN !!!). No rhinestones have fallen off yet and I wore it three full days already. I don't expect much more from a $6 ring LOL.

It might appear that I buy mostly MAC and F21 stuff but the last thing I bought was a kettle this evening. I broke my glass kettle yesterday and had to get a new one:

It's not bad. I was hoping to only spend about $70 on a kettle but this one was just over $107 CDN after tax at Canadian Tire.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Quickstrike – Green Hemp/St. Patty’s

St. Patrick Day is just around the corner for some of you all the celebrate it. It's only normal that your favorite shoe brand is dropping their very own edition in a NIke SB Dunk Low. WIth green "hemp" inspired texture in the toe box and the red Nike stitching in the back of the heel make for a festive shoe. These apparently have already started popping up in SB account in Mexico and should hit stateside within another week or so. Be on the lookout if you are looking to grab, you local SB accounts should be getting them any day now.
